This Psalm is written in call and response. That's how folks learned to sing before there were printed words. It's at the foundation of gospel, blues, and rock music. The lead singer lays down a line, and everyone replies.
Today God has laid down an awesome opening line, riffing in the heavens and the seas, the daylight and the dark. All that's left is for us to reply.
